Michael Jackson - Family Statement

  • Jun. 28th, 2009 at 2:08 PM

The Jackson family has released a statement to fans, just two days after the tragic, shocking death of Michael Jackson.

The statement, posted to People.com, reads:

"In one of the darkest moments of our lives we find it hard to find the words appropriate to this sudden tragedy we all had to encounter. Our beloved son, brother and father of three children has gone so unexpectedly, in such a tragic way and much too soon. It leaves us, his family, speechless and devastated to a point, where communication with the outside world seems almost impossible at times.

"We miss Michael endlessly, our pain cannot be described in words. But Michael would not want us to give up now. So we want to thank all of his faithful supporters and loyal fans worldwide, you -- who Michael loved so much. Please do not despair, because Michael will continue to live on in each and every one of you. Continue to spread his message, because that is what he would want you to do. Carry on, so his legacy will live forever."

Joe Jackson, Michael's father, added his own message to the statement that read:

"My grandchildren are deeply moved by all the love and support you have shown for them and their father, Michael Jackson."

A source close to the Jackson family tells People.com that on Friday the adult family members tried to contain their emotions in front of Jackson's three children -- Prince, 12, Paris, 11, and "Blanket," 7 -- but that by Saturday, their emotions could not be contained.

"The kids have fallen apart today," the source tells People. "They have taken it so, so hard. Yesterday everybody was being really strong for the kids, but today it just hit everybody. There are so many tears."

Mini Biography:

American superstar Michael Jackson was born in Gary, Indiana in 1958 and has been entertaining audiences nearly his entire life. His father, Joseph Jackson, had been a guitarist but was forced to give up his musical ambitions following his marriage to Katherine (Scruse). Together they prodded their growing family's musical interests at home. By the early 60s the older boys Jackie, Tito and Jermaine had begun performing around the city; by 1964 Michael and Marlon had joined in.

A musical prodigy, Michael's singing and dancing talents were amazingly mature and he soon became the dominant voice and focus of "The Jackson 5." An opening act for such soul groups as the O-Jays and James Brown, it was Gladys Knight (not Diana Ross) who officially brought the group to Berry Gordy's attention, and by 1969 the boys were producing back-to-back chartbusting hits as Motown artists. As a product of the 70s, the boys had emerged as one of the most accomplished black pop/soul vocal groups in music history, successfully evolving from a Temptations-like group act to a disco phenomenon.

Solo success for Michael was inevitable, and by the 80s he had become infinitely more popular than his brotherly group. Record sales consistently orbited, culminating in the biggest-selling album of all time, "Thriller." A TV natural, he ventured rather uneasily into films, such as playing the Scarecrow in The Wiz (1978), but had better luck with elaborate music videos.

In the 90s the down side as an 80s pop phenomenon began to show. Michael grew terribly child-like and introverted by his celebrity. A rather timorous, androgynous figure to begin with, his physical appearance began to change drastically and his behavior grew alarmingly bizarre, making him a consistent target for scandal-making, despite his numerous charitable acts. Two brief marriages -- one to Elvis Presley's daughter Lisa Marie Presley -- were forged and two children produced by his second wife during that time, but the purposes were obviously image oriented. Despite it all, Michael Jackson's skills as a singer, dancer, writer and businessman are unparalleled, and it is these prodigious talents that will ultimately prevail over the extremely negative aspects of his seriously troubled life.

That is one of my favorite songs ! I Love it !

  • Jun. 19th, 2009 at 4:49 PM

While not an official ''premiere'' for ''Public Enemies,'' a red carpet event takes place at 6 tonight prior to a screening of the film at AMC River East, 322 E. Illinois.

Director Michael Mann and stars Johnny Depp, Christian Bale and Marion Cotillard are among the ''Public Enemies'' principals scheduled to walk the red carpet and talk to the press about the film, based on the life of notorious Depression-era gangster John Dillinger.

Illinois Street will be blocked off in front of the multiplex, but there will be a few sidewalk and bleacher seats for fans eager to see Depp and the other actors.

Shot largely in Chicago, "Public Enemies" brought $46.7 million into the state, more money than any other film in history, the Illinois Film Office said Wednesday.

The film opens July 1.

Paradis about Johnny

  • May. 30th, 2009 at 2:32 PM

What is it about him I love? Everything. Everything. It would be silly to tell you how smart and funny and brilliant and special and beautiful he is. I mean, it is all this, but it is beyond that. I don’t know... He is just the one. Before I even met him, I knew. I had been in love with him for quite a while.

There are lots of pretty women out there and everyone, whether they are a plumber or a lawyer, has occasions to be unfaithful. [Johnny] is confronted by people every day who, you know, are prettier than me. Or funnier than me. Whatever. You know, I don’t care. I’m his best friend. And I guess that being away and seeing other people just brings us closer together. Because we know we’ve got the best to come - when we’re together again at home.

Johnny had a bar where concerts were played in Los Angeles. And that’s where we met. It was very dark, like it is in any other place like that. It was in a very little room in that club. It was really very dark! I was introduced to the owner of the club, I shook his hand, said hello and then, suddenly I looked up and I saw those eyes! After that he went to play on stage and I saw him in the light. So, then I went “ah yeah!” But before, when I shook his hand, I didn’t know who he was! But this was 5 years before we [became a couple]. But, he has never left my mind after that day. And he is an angel.

I understand [other women wanting to mob Johnny]. I want to mob him all the time, I do. He's a very charming person."

I knew I would be with Johnny long before we ever met. I believe in love at first sight, but my connection with Johnny was even stronger than that. I loved Johnny years before I met him. It might sound dumb, but that's how it was. When we met each other, we just knew, "This is the one." And we were right. I can't believe any two people love the way that we love. People might think it's easy to love someone like him because he's so gorgeous-looking. But the thing about Johnny is that he's even more gorgeous on the inside. Only TIME !

  • May. 22nd, 2009 at 9:52 PM

TIME

It flies by us, when we're having fun.
It makes the moon rise, and lowers the radiant sun.
It wrinkles a young face, with old age.
It breaks a teenager's bond's, from the motherly cage.
It beats a mountain, until it falls.
It births a child, whenever life calls.
It changes the verses, while you're reading this rhyme.
How this all happens, you will know, with time.

LOST TIME

I'm mesmerized as I watch grains
of sand flow through the glass,
which regulates the pace by which
each minute speck will pass.

The crystals , like the seconds that
turn into month and year,
with time flow on, and then when gone,
forever disappear.

And then I'm shocked to realize
lost time will be no more,
for it cannot retrieve itself,
closed tightly is the door.

And I'm amazed that as it passed,
I was too blind to see
how better time might have been used
with less waste caused by me?

I did not post any calendar for August, it is because I dislike this month... just hate this part of the year ! However, I think those for May , June and July are fantastic :) that's because they are with
Johnny Depp
!
Have a good Time everytime , everyday !

The Libertine - Review

  • May. 12th, 2009 at 7:59 PM

"I don't mean to upset people, but I must speak my mind. For what's in my mind is far more interesting than what's outside my mind."

The Libertine is one of Johnny Depp's finest performances, and overall a simply brilliant movie. From it's more disturbing yet striking scenes to it's powerful and unique story; I couldn't wish for anything more from this movie.

Taking place in the 17th century, The Libertine centres around the life of John Wilmont, aka the Earl of Rochester. He is a corrupt, drunk and sexually active cynical poet, who has a distinctive love for the theatre. As the film goes on, we are witnessed to his reputation of being liked by the ladies, drinking, shagging and his sexual play. This usually wouldn't be a movie that I would choose to watch, but Johnny Depp made it an instant must-see for me, and I am now very happy and pleasantly surprised with my verdict.

Johnny Depp has given one of his best performances in The Libertine, once again showing what an incredible actor he is and what versatility he has between his various acting roles. John Malkovich has another exceptional movie added to his filmography, while there were other great performances from Rosamund Pike, Jack Davenport and Samantha Morton.

I highly recommend this movie, even just to see for yourself what it is like. I can't guarantee that everyone will like it, but it should at least be an interesting experience.

Johnny`s Rings !

  • Apr. 13th, 2009 at 9:50 PM

Some of these small details I LOVE talking about Johnny Depp are his rings  - especially  his skull rings! We know, he is sentimental and sensitive person, who cannot live without all these hats, rings, necklaces, bracelets and of course his pirates beads  :)))  Maybe this is  a part of his fascination and charm, or just his style and it's the way he expresses his feeling and emotions...  Talking bout me I can say that my rings remind me of different people, sometimes events or just make me think about something special..

Below you can read some interesting details about some of Johnny's rings. Have a good time .
Rudi {}{}{}

Skull rings:
He has many skull rings - one that he has worn since the Dead Man days and another that is also worn by Iggy Pop and Jim Jarmusch his friends. Another skull ring he has contains the emblem from The Brave on the side of it and the number three:

Cherokee head ring:
He has a ring of a Cherokee head that was a gift from Vanessa for his 40 th birthday to honor his ancestry.

Gold ring
He has a new gold ring that was given to him by Neil Lane the celebrity jewelry designer. He wore this new ring in the Jan. edition of the Esquire magazine.

Jack Sparrow Skull ring
He has a new skull Jack Sparrow ring that he has been wearing the past six months or so. It is made of silver and has beautiful detail including jacks scarf and piece of eight. He received it as a gift from the set of AWE.

Jack Sparrow gold ring
He wears a gold ring that is a replica of the one that Jack Sparrow wears in Pirates, it is actually a replica of a ring from the seventeenth century of Rome. The actual ring was borrowed from an aquiatene for use in the second Pirates and mysteriously came up missing from the movie set during the middle of filming. The ring he wears in the movie is sometimes the original and sometimes the gold replica.

The Rum Diary

  • Apr. 2nd, 2009 at 10:32 PM

Title: The Rum Diary
Year: 2009 (announced)
Directed by: Bruce Robinson
Written by: Bruce Robinson, Hunter S. Thompson (novel)

PLOT:

"Disgusting as he usually was," Hunter Thompson writes in this, his 1959 novel, "on rare occasions he showed flashes of a stagnant intelligence. But his brain was so rotted with drink and dissolute living that whenever he put it to work it behaved like an old engine that had gone haywire from being dipped in lard." Surprise! Thompson isn't writing about himself, but one of the other, older, aimlessly carousing newspapermen in Puerto Rico, a guy called Moberg whose chief achievement is the ability to find his car after a night's drinking because it stinks so much. (I can smell it for blocks, he boasts.) The autobiographical hero, Paul Kemp, is 30, trapped in a dead-end job (Thompson wound up writing for a bowling magazine), and feeling as if his big-time writer dreams, soaked in Fitzgerald and Hemingway, are evaporating as rapidly as the rum in his fist.
In fact, Thompson was only 22 when he wrote The Rum Diary, but his fear of winding up like Moberg was well founded. What saved him was the fantastic conflagration of the 1960s, a fiery wind on which the reptilian wings of his prose style could catch and soar to the cackling heights of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. Puerto Rico in 1959 doesn't have bad craziness enough to offer Thompson--just a routine drunken-reporter stomping by local cops and a riot over Kemp's friend's temptress girlfriend, a scantily imagined Smith College alumna who likes to strip nude on beaches and in nightclubs to taunt men.

"... Things in life are not always as they seem. When you listen, for instance , to someone talking there is another voice beneath his words.. Even if you hear clearly what he is saying The real truth is much deeper! ..."
-- Johnny Depp --

That's all I want to write today... It sounds somehow familiar but actually we just forget it in our everyday life.. Truth is there we just have to fing it..
